The center is located on the outskirts of Cádiz. And it currently has 31 teachers, 3 cleaners, 3 ordinances and two administrative staff.
The student body, approximately 400, has a very diverse origin, both from a geographical and social point of view. We receive students from the vicinity, from the city center, from other surrounding towns and from other countries (Germany, Norway, Brazil ...), which has made it necessary for years to arbitrate a complex school transport system, managed by the AMPA and in coordination with the management of the center. Currently, there is a RENFE stop and a bus stop for line 1, which seems to have solved the problem.

Secondary School

In our school there are about 1150 students. Not all come from Palazzolo S/O, most of them come from the surrounding villages and even from isolated farms in the countryside. The institute is part of a regional network which promotes continuity and educational guidance and is a landmark for disadvantaged students. In the Vocational High School G. Falcone 70 disabled students are attending the courses. The actions taken so far in our school try to reduce the distance between the different foreign students ' culture and Italian students’ culture. Projects promoting knowledge of history, traditions and economic problems of the students' countries of origin have taken place, as well as sport and leisure activities. Becoming a precious means of communication and socialisation they represent the first step towards their integration. As a lot of sport activities do not need oral expression, this is one of the best ways to give value to people's inner character and qualities and makes integration easier. As a school with a mixed profile we offer both vocational and technical education, we carry out activities ranging from graphic to touristic sector. Our students can choose from a variety of options :social and healthcare services, touristic, graphic, marketing and business services. Curriculum Management (Autonomy, Flexibility and Digital Turn); 3. Partnerships and Community. The School has a European Development Plan and we want to join forces with schools in other countries with a similar geographical and social context. We aim to foster less formal pedagogical strategies that will raise the level of motivation of pupils, as well as to involve parents and the rest of the local educational community more. Everything that has to do with Environment and Citizenship are topics that deserve our greatest interest. Since we are in a rural region and where nature is a strong point, we want to invest in projects that aim to promote cultural heritage and environmental sustainability. KSG is offering secondary education, varying from mavo, up2havo, havo and (bilingual) VWO. KSG noticed students had very different knowledge, opinions and attitutes on European matters. The motivation to join this project is based on stimulating and inspiring pupils to get known with the EU and give their opinions about certain national and international situations. Several years ago, KSG was present at another European Parliament for schools, but they noticed many possible points of improvement on various aspects, encouraging them to do a similar but better project. They want to give their students a chance to get in contact with other pupils from all over Europe to discuss international matters, but they also want the participating schools and staff to benefit from the project by exchanging good practices. . KSG has experience with the implementation and coordination of Erasmus+ projects KA226, KA202, KA101. Over the years, KSG has valuable experience in international projects. The international aspect is embedded throughout all subjects taught at the school, so the theme is not limited to trips and exchanges. The level of English of both students and staff is excellent, and much attention is paid to European matters.

ROMANIA
HIGH School

.......

Andrei Saguna National High School has two forms of education: lower secondary (students aged between 11 and 14) and higher secondary (high school; students aged between 14 and 18). The high school includes sciences and humanities classes. The sciences classes offer specializations in mathematics-computer scince, English intensive sciences and French bilingual sciences, and the humanities class, in English bilingual social sciences. There are 840 students (120 in high school and the rest in middle school). Students are coordinated towards performance, reaching this high school based on a local (fifth grade) and national (ninth grade) selection. The students at our school have an orientation towards a university career. Preparing a career choice according to real skills and professional training is one of the important tasks of this type of high school. Orienting young people in choosing a career according to their profile is one of the projects necessary for implementation. Another important objective of the educational policy in high school is to change the focus from individual performance competencies into competitive team activity. The individualistic approach to learning cultivated through the type of selection/entrance exams must be turned, through consistent education, into a competitive one, based on collaboration and communication. Our school is a Preparation Centre for Cambridge Exams and one of the recognized francophone schools in Romania, the students in the bilingual French class participating in the bilingual French project and having the opportunity to take the French Baccalaureate. Since 1999, teachers and students have been participating in European and international Projects, thus successfully and convincingly promoting the image of our school and of the local community at a national and international level.
