NON VIOLENT COMMUNICATION, RESTORATIVE JUSTICE AND NARRATIVE THERAPY

This 5-day course deals with communication applied to potentially traumatic situations.

Negotiation, active listening, non-violent communication are proactive tools to avoid harmful situations. Narrative Therapy is the tool that can quickly restore the minds and consciences of the victims of those situations where dialogue has not worked.

Conflict is always present in the lives of peoples and countries, but it must not be the focus of our attention: our energies must be concentrated upon the best possible ways to resolve the conflict.

There is always a dialectical solution. Violence is never the solution. Violence does not only mean the use of force, but also all those situations where there is no healthy commitment to seek the reasons of the other. When only one view prevails there is violence.

The course is addressed to all those who are socially engaged, psychologists, community members, teachers and students or people who are witnessing the collapse of an era of supremacy and wish to be active protagonists in building new relationships between peoples.
