Multilingual and Multicultural Education
The training course combines collaborative webinars on zoom or Google Meets platform. The webinars will be targeted to demonstrate modern approaches to teaching multilingual and multicultural students. Participants will be collaborating with in pairs, groups in order to share experiences by brainstorming, role-play and discussions. The participants will be actively creating knowledge of multilingualism in multicultural settings. Participants will use break-out rooms to design best particles/strategies in teaching multilingual learners in order to upgrade their teaching materials such as digital portfolios by developing teaching skills.
Expected results of training course
By the end of the course participants will be able to critically reflect on their teaching and learning approaches. They will be able to demonstrate new visions and skills gained during the training. Also, they will be able to store their work digitally and share with their co-workers at their school sites.

Course Trainer Valerian Goguadze
Experienced IB Teacher, English as an Additional Language with a demonstrated history of working in school education. Skilled in PYP and MYP, WIDA Assessment, Non-formal Education, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Team Leadership, and Project Management. PhD student at the University of San Diego in Leadership Studies. Strong education professional with a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and a Master's degree focused on e-Learning and e-Governance Technologies from Tallinn University of Technology.
